What It’s All About
For almost 16 years, the Harry and Pnina Turk HebrewsCool program focused on making learning about Judaism a joyful experience. The legacy continues as Rabbi Yossi brings his warm and engaging approach to learning to each and every class. Learners will be mentored in the Jewish values and traditions that will empower them to love one another and offer their best selves to the world. HebrewsCool is a one day a week program open to students of all backgrounds. Previous Jewish education is not a requirement to join this unique and innovative program.
What Is Unique About HebrewsCool
Rabbi Yossi’s dynamic and uplifting personality resonates with young people of all ages, opening the door to a lifetime connection with Judaism. Throughout a year of Jewish study, the young people under Rabbi Yossi’s care will experience the rhythmical cycle of the Jewish calendar, learn about the mitzvot (spiritual practices) underpinning Jewish holidays and live the values that contribute so much to building character.

Who Participates in HebrewsCool?
Any Jewish child in grades 1-6, regardless of religious affiliation or denomination or membership in a synagogue. New students will be placed in classes based on their age, not their previous Jewish educational experience.
What is the Time Commitment for HebrewsCool?
Classes are two hours long on either Tuesday evenings or Sunday mornings.
Although classes are digital, students are required to log in on time and interact as required. Some classes will require 30 -40 minutes preparation.
Parents will need to decide on which session their children will attend upon registration.
What are the Fees for HebrewsCool?
Fees for the full term are $949 payable upon registration. Credit card payments are preferred. Should you want to pay by cheque, please email us at hello@livingjewishly.org, type HebrewsCool in the subject line and we will help you.

What are the session dates for 2020-2021?
The first Sunday class will take place on November 08, 2020 in the morning and the first Tuesday class will take place on November 10, 2020. More details to follow. Classes will not take place during the December, March and Passover breaks.
