POSTPONED: Night Walk and a Campfire Conversation with Rabbi Yossi

May 9, 2020 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm EDT

$45
Beautiful lifestyle autumn photo mother and child walks in the park, warm sunlight

Please note that this event has been postponed due to COVID-19 precautionary measures.

On this Mother’ Day eve join us and experience a full moon as it rises over the forest, in a way you never have before. The moon is a central symbol in Jewish thought and women in particular, are seen as having a special connection with it. After a professionally guided silent walk over rolling hills, with brief stops to engage with the different sounds, sights, and scents of the night, we’ll settle in around a campfire. Over foraged tea, and just before the moon rises, Rabbi Yossi will enthrall us with tales of ancient traditions that connect the moon, the forest, light, fire and even bows and arrows to a woman’s role in the world.

Forest walk is suitable for all genders 18 years and up with xxxx ability. (awaiting info about skill level)
Registration is limited to a maximum of 20 people.
